PSLE is over! 
You have all worked very hard! 
We wish all of you would pass the exams with flying colours.

The Guzheng instructor and your juniors miss all of your presence and are hoping to see you all again.

You are welcomed to join us on 12 November 2015 and 16 November 2015 at 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. as a reunion to hopefully leave a lasting and memorableexperience for all of you as well as for your juniors.

Changes to Guzheng Practice Schedule

Dear All


There will be no guzheng practice on 21/09/15 and 28/09/15 as the teachers will be down for oral examinations.

Guzheng practice will resume on 01/10/15, Thursday.
Timing and location will be as per usual.

These changes have been reflected in the updated guzheng schedule that we have handed out to the members.

***CHANGES in details for extra practice during Sept Holidays

Please be informed that the extra practice sessions on 10 and 11 September 2015 for INTERMEDIATE CLASS have been CANCELLED due to the General Elections 2015.

However, for intermediate class, only the 2nd part players need to attend the extra sessions.

Kindly be informed that there will be a practice session during the June holidays, 
on 24 June 2015, Wednesday, 1 p.m. to 5 p.m. so as to make up for the previous 2 sessions we cancelled due to works in the school hall.

For our sessions now, our focus will be on preparing for next year's SYF. 


We would also like to take the opportunity to thank all parents for the support that you have provided thus far. We really appreciate it!

We would like to inform that guzheng practice on 23 March 2015 will be cancelled due to the closure of the school hall. The school hall is currently still under some works.

Kindly be informed that the guzheng practice on 9 March 2015 is cancelled due to some works in the school hall.

The school hall is currently under works and we would not be able to have access to the guzheng room, hence the practice session has to be cancelled.


We seek your kind understanding and further updates on subsequent practice sessions will be made known to you via the blog as well.

Welcome Back to Hildan Guzheng Ensemble!

Welcome Back to Hildan Guzheng Ensemble!

We trust that you had a good vacation resting, travelling and spending time with your loved ones. Hope you are all ready for an exciting 2015 with the Hildan Guzheng! 

The first Guzheng session (P4-P6) will commence in Term 1 Week 2 (12 January 2015). 

Beginner Class (P2-P3) : 2pm-4pm, Mondays (from 19 January 2015)

Intermediate & Advanced Class (P4-P6) : 2pm - 4pm, Mondays

Venue:  Guzheng Room (2nd floor, beside Hildan's Ark)

It is important for your child to be present for all practices as any absences will affect the performance of the Guzheng as a group. We seek your co-operation to ensure that your child is present at every Guzheng practice. 

Should your child be absent, a medical certificate or letter from the parent/guardian is appreciated. The schedule for Term 1 will be given to Guzheng members during the first session. See you there!
